It’s heartbreak mixed with a bit of good news—Swedish House Mafia is indeed breaking up, but they’re embarking on a final tour to appease their throngs of international fans. The EDM trio has been feeling the pressures of global stardom for some time now, and they’ve finally decided to throw in the collective towel.
The individual members are certainly still going to continue creating music—we might still even see future collaborations between them—but for now, the Swedish House Mafia machine is going to have its last hurrahs.
It might be a farewell tour, but stay tuned for the members’ other projects, including Steve Angello’s label, SIZE. If they’re coming to your city, be sure to get tickets before they sell out!
